This pasta recipe has easily become our go to weeknight comfort food meals! Everything cooks in the same skillet or pot so clean up is easy and it’s all made in 30 minutes or less.
My favorite part is there is no need to cook the rotini noodles ahead of time. You just add them right into the skillet and they cook in the sauce! The noodles absorb all the flavor and get perfectly cooked.
Mushrooms: I like use white button mushrooms or baby bella
Bell Pepper: red preferred
Ground Turkey (or ground Italian sausage or ground beef)
Your favorite jarred red pasta sauce/tomato sauce
Chicken broth (or water can be used)
Rotini pasta, dry (no need to boil it before you add it in, yay!)
Freshly shredded mozzarella cheese
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
