These Homemade Chicken Breakfast Sausage Patties are juicy, flavorful, and so easy to make at home with just a few simple ingredients. They’re a protein-packed breakfast recipe perfect for meal prep, breakfast sandwiches, or serving with your favorite eggs and toast!
Mix the sausage: In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix until just combined (don’t overmix).
1 lb ground chicken, 1 Tbsp. maple syrup, 1¼ tsp. kosher salt, A few grinds of black pepper, 1 tsp. poultry seasoning, 1 tsp. olive oil, 1/2 tsp. onion powder, 1/4 tsp. garlic powder, 1/4 tsp. dried sage, Pinch red pepper flakes
Form patties: Divide mixture into ~6-8 small patties, about ~3 inches wide. Slightly wet hands help prevent sticking when shaping.
