  • Small corn tortillas, street taco size
  • 1/2 cup finely diced white onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • Lime wedges
  • Guacamole or sliced avocado
  • Crumbled cotija cheese
  • Pickled red onions
  • Salsa, roja or verde
  • Radish slices

Instructions

  • Grill carne asada: Grill the carne asada using this recipe. You’re looking for a deep char on the outside and medium-rare to medium inside.

  • Chop: Slice against the grain, and then chop into small pieces. We want those small pieces for our tacos!

  • Warm the tortillas: In a dry skillet or directly over the flame on a stove until soft, lightly charred, and pliable. Keep them warm in a towel while you build the tacos.

Notes
