Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes peeled
  • 1-2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2-3/4 tsp. kosher salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper

Instructions

  • Prep the sweet potatoes: Peel and cut into evenly sized cubes - I like to make mine pretty tiny!
    2 medium sweet potatoes
Peeling two big sweet potatoes and dicing them into small cubes.
  • Season: Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
1-2 Tbsp. olive oil, 1/2-3/4 tsp. kosher salt, 1/4 tsp. black pepper

  • Air fry: Preheat air fryer to 400°F (if your model requires it to be preheated). Add sweet potatoes in a single layer (you will probably need to work in batches). Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until tender and lightly browned. Start Timer

Notes

  • Don’t overcrowd: This is KEY for crispiness! I know it’s a little annoying to cook in batches, but we want those crispy little cubes!
  • I like to keep the seasonings simple, but you can of course, change up the seasonings based on what you’re eating or craving: adding different seasonings like paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, etc.
  • You can make it with the skin on and skip the peel time!
