Place pork in slow cooker: Place the pork tenderloins in the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker.
2 lb. pork tenderloin (or 2 loins)
Whisk sauce ingredients: Whisk together all sauce ingredients in a measuring cup.
3/4 cup beef broth, 1/3 cup soy sauce, 1/3 cup dark brown sugar, packed, 1 Tbsp. hoisin, 1 Tbsp. rice vinegar, 1 Tbsp. sesame oil, 1 Tbsp. cornstarch, 1 tsp. garlic, minced, 1 tsp. ginger, minced, 1/2 tsp. Chinese 5-spice powder (optional)
Pour over pork: pour sauce over the pork, turning the pork a couple of times to make sure it’s all coated. (not submerged, just will be coated)
Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
Slice or shred: the pork will be very tender and easy to shred or slice, however you prefer. I like to add it right back into the sauce in the slow cooker.
Serve: serve with rice, veggies, green onions, and sesame seeds for garnish.
garnish and serving: green onions, sesame seeds, rice, veggies, etc.
