This easy Oven Baked Teriyaki Glazed Salmon is a healthy weeknight meal that can be whipped up in 30 minutes or less and delicious served with rice and broccoli. The salmon is baked in a delicious homemade teriyaki sauce and is so tender and flaky.
Make the sauce by whisking all of the ingredients together in a bowl. Pour sauce into a small saucepan and heat on the stove on medium heat.
1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/3 cup water, 3 Tbsp. brown sugar, 1 Tbsp. honey, 1 Tbsp. mirin, 2 tsp. garlic, minced, 1 tsp. ginger, crushed, 1 pinch red pepper chili flakes (optional)
Bring to a simmer and then whisk in cornstarch and water slurry to thicken. If you'd like sauce thicker, add more cornstarch slurry. Set aside.

Place the fresh salmon fillets skin side down in an oven safe baking dish or on a sheet pan. Pour some of the teriyaki sauce over the salmon to coat the tops. (about 1-2 Tbsp.)
4 (6 oz.) salmon fillets
Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
Pour more sauce on top and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve with rice and broccoli.
