Fresh Fig Balsamic

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh figs quartered
  • 1/2 white onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 3 T dark brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup balsamic
  • 1/4 cup water
  • pinch of salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Place all of the ingredients in a medium sauce pan and bring to a boil. Then let balsamic mixture simmer for ~30 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature before storing in fridge.
