Welcome to another Bar Method Fresno Blog post! I cannot express how much I have been loving blogging for these amazing, fit, and healthy ladies here in the Central Valley! It has been a pleasure and I am excited to start teaming up with the Young Chefs Academy & Bar Method to start doing some healthy cooking/eating classes starting in September! Life is so precious, why not absorb all of the opportunities that come your way? On the other hand you must not burn the candle at both ends (as my dad would often say) and learn when the proper time to say no is as well.

I do not believe I have blogged about many desserts for the Bar Method! So, I was browsing a magazine the other day in the grocery check out line and I came across stuffed pears. They looked SO delicious and I happened to have some pears that I needed to use up in the fridge so it was fate! 🙂 I like this dessert because it has a nice crunch and natural sweetness…however I did add a pinch of brown sugar and honey to make it more dessert-like. A lot of times at night we will start to crave sweet foods, and this is a healthy alternative to let’s say… Ben and Jerry’s cake batter ice cream! With a boost of protein, healthy fats, vitamins, and fiber this dessert needs to be a keeper in your household. Maybe if you have been “extra good” lately you can enjoy the warm stuffed pear with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, mmmm.
